Commission an Original Artwork

Introduction:
Please follow the below instruction to commission your unique Artwork.

Picture of the Subject and tips:
-Take a very clear picture of the subject you would like me to paint.
-Make sure that the lighting is in front or to one side of the subject.
-Make sure that the true colours are visible and accurate in your picture.
-Make sure that the photo contains all the details you want me to paint.
-Make sure that the picture represents the true personality of the subject.
-Share more than one picture of the same subject if necessary but please don’t forget to state which is your favourite one so that I can focus my attention on that one.
Background:
The background of your portrait will be a plain and neutral colour unless otherwise discussed.
Name of the painting:
To personalize your artwork, choose the name of your painting. It can be the name of the subject or his/her/its nickname. You decide! I’ll add the name of your painting on the back of the canvas and on the certificate of authenticity.
Media and Materials:
The media and materials I use for my artwork are the best quality of Oil and Acrylic paints on wood panels and stretched cotton canvases. I love to use vibrant and joyful colours for my palette. I use oil paint for more traditional art works. Also, I use acrylic paint for more decisive and modern results. Let me know if you have a preference or if you want me to choose the right colours for the type of artwork you will commission with me.
Surface Size and Pricing:
The surfaces I use are always primed, signed, stamped and varnished.
20x20cm or 20x30cm – €100
30x30cm or 30x40cm – €200
40x40cm or 40x50cm – €300
50x50cm or 50x60cm – €400
60x60cm or 60x70cm – €500
70x70cm or 70x80cm – €600
Surface Type
I use stretched 100% cotton canvas, wood panels or textured paper. Let me know if you have a preference or if you want me to choose the right surface for the type of artwork you will commission.
Frame Size and Pricing:
Please let me know if you would like me to frame your artwork for you. Please note that I’m not a professional framer so I’ll use a Dublin based Framer to frame your artwork. This process will take approximately 3 extra weeks and an additional cost for the frame.
Shipping Pricing:
Shipping is calculated depending on your location. Shipping can take up to a period of 2 weeks (3 weeks for busy periods like Christmas). The painting will be shipped safely packaged. I’ll charge an additional cost for the shipping.
Documents:
All Art-works are supplied with a certificate of authenticity and an Invoice.
Communications:
I’ll share with you the progress of making your painting step by step. I usually use Instagram Stories at @elenadistefanoart but I can also use the app WhatsApp or Emails. You decide the best channel for you. Also, I am fluent in both Italian and English.
Returns:
All sales are final.
