About my Art

I am a wildlife and nature artist. 

My paintings are finely detailed with significant time and effort invested to carefully create accurate depictions of life, through perspective, colour, light and dark. These combine to create the illusion of reality blended with the emotions of my subjects.

I work in oils and acrylics on wood panels and stretched cotton canvases. I love to use vibrant and joyful colours for my palette. I use oil paint for more traditional art works and acrylic paint for more decisive and modern results.

My paintings have a symbolic meaning and a realistic appearance. The aim is to go beyond what is seen and to reflect on the meaning of the subject painted. Each artwork conveys a special energy and a unique experience to the viewer
